What the fuck!! Morning Glory is the album that I spun this morning on my way from Andheri to Churchgate.
Somehow, I love this album while I travel to work. The travel time is equal to the album length.
It is really intriguing how a band, after making two of the best albums of the 90s, could blow it all apart. As if they just fell off the cliff. I never really cared about this band beyond MG. But this album remains my fav Britpop album.

all my working life, my editors have hurled back my carefully written copy...scattered the pages in the air, like leaves in fall, stuck their fingers in my face, like muggers stick guns, and screamed: "but, what's the fucking story??"

ohmygod how cool are you? i love LOVE morning glory (well, all of oasis actually so totally disagree that they fell of a cliff, but these just be trifles...) unfortunately i killed my blog and you don't allow anon comments. sigh
